getting my idrive updated....should i leave the turbo tuner inside?

should i be worried about leaving the turbo tuner in the car for an idrive update? yes believe it or not im too lazy to take it off lol

My SA said they will never look for an ECU mod unless the car is throwing codes. But, why risk it? You have much to lose and little to gain by leaving the TT on during service. Plus, these cars are so finicky during software updates, that I wouldn't risk it--my electronics system completely crashed during my update, threw a code, and they had to replace one of the system controllers. If that happened to you, they might just go sniffing for your TT.

i wouldn't worry about it, i had the procede in my car when they updated my i-drive system and they didn't say a thing about it.
