Wheel balancing machine question
Took my brand new "Concept ones" with less than 100 mile on them to make sure they where balanced perfectly (thought a weight popped off) and when on the balancing machine they where not 100% running true. The balancing machine is the type that has a cone that is inserted into the hub and it spins and you can see they where not perfectly straight....could this be the machine doing this or is the bore/hub off a bit? 1 rim was perfectly true....other 3 had a bit of movement

Depending on the machine, they're able to do a 'run-out' test to determine whether the wheel is bent or warped.

I know this machine was a older one (same one that did my car when I was 16 lol!!)...the wheel goes on then a cone shaped arm goes into the hub, they drop this plastic thing over the tire and it starts spinning (best explanation I can give.). Just hard to believe a bad wheel of this quality...never hit anything ever lol!! Have you had a set of wheels like this....probably not (great wheels, by buddy as 2 pairs lol)....trying to see if this is common, can't find anything on it.
