Wheel/Tire combo

I have a 07 328xi and was looking into getting new rims/tires. Since it is xi, was just curious if running 8.5 in the front and 9 or 9.5 in the rear cause a big inbalance and create stress? I might just get 8.5 19" 40+all around. My other question was if I decided to go with 19" 8.5 all around with 40mm offset, what would be the best tire size combo?

You can definitely run a staggered setup on an XI. Only thing to watch out is getting the tire sizes within 1% of each other. We run a 235/35/19 and a 265/30/19. No issues with those tire sizes. If you wanted to run a squared setup a 235/35/19 all around will work.

Agreed. Staggered will fit just fine, just be careful with tire sizes.
