Window trim replacement?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but this is a cosmetic maintenance question.

It's a minor thing, but I bought a Modern line which has the the black line trim around the windows, and after having it for a month, I definitely like the chrome trim on the Luxury line.

I think I found the top section online, if its called a "Finisher' side frame." About $140 per side. The bottom part may be called "duct cover"... But I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right parts.

Anyone know what the parts needed are called exactly, and do you think it would difficult to do? It's looking like this could become too expensive for just a cosmetic tweak if I can't do it myself.

Thanks!

These are the part numbers for the door trims. Am looking at changing my luxury line one to the sportline (high gloss black ones) once my car is delivered. Hope this helps!

Thanks!

I've inquired at the parts dept. about the chrome and here is what I found out:

Top: "Finisher, side frame" Chrome: $167.37 per side
Front doors: Belt molding (channel ceiling) $57 each
Rear doors: (duct covers): $57 each. part 26541
$562 total

I have the gloss black shadowline trim (Modern Line), which I've heard is more expensive. I'd be willing to consider a trade. I've read elsewhere that removing it is easy, but not sure. PM me if you're interested.

Still looking to trade? I can't stand the Chrome trim on my car. Mine only has 2000 miles on it...

I'm kind of over it (it's been a while), but I'd consider it if you're in the LA area. I'd want to meet up and trade in person... PM me if that works for you.

I have the same issue, I have the luxury line and dont really like the chrome trim. I have been thinking about looking into getting the trim wrapped that way when I go to sell in the future i can just pull the wrap off but I dont know if this can even be done and how much cheaper it would be . What do you guys think?

I'm torn because I like the look of the chrome trim against mineral gray (which is the color I have ) but I've heard that the chrome will fade/water spot over time. The shadow black is differently more durable but doesn't have the same "pop". Decisions, decisions....

This thread is just what I was looking for. Can anyone help identify the part number for the "COVER, WINDOW GUIDE". Basically, it's #8 in this url, however, I'm having a hard time identifying exactly which part number I need. I'm looking for the high gloss version to go with my new high gloss B pillars.

Is it difficult to remove, because I got some scratches in it and want to repaint - but not to destroy at removal. Any hints?

Wow looks great! What was it wrapped with? And can it be easily removed? Also what percent tint do you have?

I only see one part # for the gloss black trim (= Glanzschwarz). There is a left & right:
08 Cover, window guide web, exterior left GLANZSCHWARZ 51357263381
08 Cover, window guide web, exterior right GLANZSCHWARZ 51357263382
