He's got every single person who bought a PROcede wanting to buy V2.0 (ok, maybe there are one or two people who don't want V2.0), so I have a feeling getting that ready to sell is Priority #1. Personally, I would prefer that Vishnu (as a whole) ramp up to ship as many V2.0 upgrade harness/software packages as soon as possible (including one to ME). I know it will be worth it.

A good tune takes time. It is essential for Shiv/Vishnu to make use of the hardware advantages of the PROcede now and will give us a high-quality result. So be happy about every single day of additional R&D. Vishnu is nearly dedicated to tune the N54 since 9 months now and Shiv is an excellent tuner and software designer/developer. No car up to know has serious issues or problems. Bathurst race reliability proven. Where is the competition ? Man, I trust this guy ...
My 2 cents. Eugen. Last edited by e.n335; 08-10-2007 at 02:07 PM.. |

1. v2.0 is working properly with 0 foreseen issues. 2. They have enough v2.0 harnesses in stock for their initial batch release, say ~ 40-50+ (or maybe like 100+ )???? 3. They have the new v2.0 map all set up for customer download. 4. They've completed their installation videos, which may include at least a v1.4x-v2.0 conversion installation video and a v2.0 (fresh) installation video. 5. They've updated their Web site and Vishnu PROcede Forum. Plus a whole lot more work to be done for this v2.0 release; it's a lot of work...give the guy and his team some credit and some time....geez! If he's a week or two late...no big deal; it will be worth the wait! :rocks:

I see all you guys sticking up for Vishnu but a business is only as good as their word and appoligies only get you so far. If something is said to be done by a date, get it done or else your rep is gonna be effected no matter how nice you are. Its BUSINESS.

Its not about whether to buy or sell from anyone so dont get your panties in a bunch buddy. Sure everyone will " buy it when i comes" but its not right for the business to put a time table out that false. Thats bad business no matter how much you like someone. I guess thats why business is doing so well Shiv, because you have buddies on here telling people go go buy elsewhere. good luck with that approach. You keep customers and keep customers loyal by keeping your word. Thats regardless of how good a tuner or a friend you or anyone else is. So if people want to complain, let them complain.
PS: I have no problem with Shiv, everything ive heard about him and his business has been good. I just have a problem with people on this thread praising bad business.

Its prefered never to set yourself to the public a time limit but some customers want a ball park time. If someone really wants the "V2" for instance, they will wait no matter how long it takes.. No one else will be coming out with a V2. I think as a company owner, Vishnu has a great reputation.. He will be fine and most important, his customers will be happy!! Good luck, can't wait to feel the boost!! Rickie Cruz |

agreed, but you still need to deliver on what you promise. I understand it's hard to forsee things that will come up, that's why I recommend waiting until you are far enough along to announce something that you can have a very good feel for the timeline you outline.
