That's expensive. The parts can be bought here for $800 (discounted from Pacific BMW or Circle BMW) plus cost of install which should be another $100...so $1300 doesn't sound like a "special offer".

The Rear Spoiler is not Carbon Fiber, it's painted to match the exterior color of the car. BTW, My dealer here in New York is charging me $1590 for the Carbon Fiber Front lip, the rear spoiler, and they claim they're "throwing in free" the Aluminum Pedals....So I think $1300 sounds good in comparison....

Well if it's Habberstad I wouldn't be surprised....he likes to charge full retail on everything.

That brings up an interesting issue: the carbon front pieces and the rear spoiler have to be super easy to install....why not do it yourself? I've also heard the pedals are somewhat easy if you have a good electric drill. I'm not normally the kind of guy that would so these projects but these seem like simple installs.

Because i'm getting Jet Black I will pass on the carbon fiber lips...I don't think you'll notice them. The spoiler looks great on black in the pics I've seen in this forum.

I thought about installing them myself but decided to pay the extra and have the dealer do it. As for the Carbon Fiber lips, it was on a Jet Black 325i showroom demo that I first saw it. The car was sitting next to a Ti Silver 330i and the first thing I noticed about the 325i were the Carbon Fiber lips. It also was outfitted with the Rear Spoiler which looked sweet.

matrix have you take delivery of your car yet? I'm dying to see more photos of the CF lips. What color is your car? Thanks.

That is the price without install. Almost all the car web site will have a tiny little * and say not including install charge from the dealer.

I took delivery of it yesterday: 330i Sparkling Graphite with Black/Aluminum interior. The carbon Fiber Splitter lips and the Rear Spoiler gives the car a much sportier/aggressive look...talk about turning heads. The dealer also threw in "free" the aluminum pedals which adds to the aluminum trim. Overall, the car looks sweet inside and out, not to mention how superb the drive/handling is. I don't have any pictures yet but will try and post some soon. Anyway, if you're thinking about the carbon Fiber lips and/or spoiler, I would say spend the extra $ and get them...you won't regret it

When you order it with the car or getting it new installation is free.

Do the CFlips install OVER the existing face or does it replace something?

Marcus, they just install over the stock bumper. Check out EVOS4's installation and official installation instructions:

They'd look equally nice on your black e90.
