According to Innotech, the system is in the final stages of development and should be released next month.

I've been looking at this exhaust and I think it is absolutely amazing. Best sounding I've heard.

^That was the video that caught my attention. Plus this system also comes with catless downpipes.

Yeah very interesting system, sounds really nice, would the full set up void your warranty?? That's the only thing that concerns me

I would call the overall sound of this system close to perfect for my taste. Would really like to hear what it sounds like inside the car.

X pipes and mufflers don't, but I'm not sure what BMW thinks of downpipes. I doubt it is an issue unless you tune the damn thing. It would make your car not street legal from emissions perspective because it takes out the Cats. Wouldn't surprise me if you get a decent HP boost even without tuning by removal of cats. High flow cats is better than no cats, but v expensive.

That said, I think the price of this setup must be really high. EAS is selling the downpipes alone for $2800.

The system looks and sounds nice, but why film it under an overpass? Can you put it out in the open and retest. I think it would be better test.

yeah thats what i thought as well thanks for clearfying it but BMW is actually a pain when it comes to down pipes, i am pretty sure it makes the censors go off and they end up voiding the warranty. My friend went through the same problem when he got down pipes and they gave him a lot of problems. The HP gain is definately going to be there but giving up the warranty, idkk

I have heard of someone making "mini catalytic converters" to put in-between the O2 sensor and the catless exhaust's bung. I imagine it would make the O2 sensor read lower emissions since there is a catalytic converter filtering the results being read. Probably still not "legal" but maybe could help with CEL. Although, most "cheap" full-size aftermarket catalytic converters seem to melt from the extreme heat generated by turbo cars. However, maybe the placement between the bung and O2 sensor would help shield it from extreme temps.
