What's your opinions on Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell?
hehe...I know this is a bimmer forum..bimmer guys don't use cheap ass craps like Tortoise poopoo.... yeah yeah...cheapass bugger, bought a $4xk car and opt for a $3 wax.... Just trying to get some info on this.
I am just curious how is this stuff? I've seen my dad used this when I was young and heck, I still saw that hardened wax container in one of our cabinet..of course it's like 15yrs old and looks like crap. Anyone still uses this? There's the paste and liquid form. Are these waxes or a cleaner wax? |

you mean just regular turtle wax? It's not bad stuff for the price I guess, but I certainly would never put it on my BMW! I used to have a white car and used it on there once or twice when I needed a little cleaner as well, but on a new finish I would pay a couple bucks more and get some quality wax.

Why not just buy Meguiar's? They are my OTC choice.

Meguiars's my fav too due to pricing.....I was actually looking for some wax (not cleaner wax) and seem to stumble upon this. What wax would you recommend frm Meguiars? They tend to be easily found around me...but I have no idea which.

I'd have to know what products you see in your store. I'm not a big fan of their NXT TechWax.

Hmm..gonna check it out. I don't remember either. I have a spray NXT Wax, but that stuff is hard to buff off w/ hand, so I am not using it again.

I really like the NXT Wax as an OTC choice. Not the longest lasting by any means, but the shine is good and the ease of use if definitely good. Meguiars No 36 yellow wax still remains one of my favorites. Really should use some type of cleaner first however.
