meguiars nxt wax
Is this stuff a sealant or wax? Anyone know? And if it is a sealant what type of wax would you recommend putting on top of it?

It's not a carnauba based wax, it is a cleaner wax/sealant. You can either put a sealant or a carnauba based wax on top of it. Remember, it is a cleaner type wax so you would use it first. I think it has some fillers and there's better choices than this stuff however.

I think NXT would be considered a sealant since it is synthetic. It has cleaning properties but I would say not as strong as a true cleaner wax like ColorX for example. You do not have to top it off but you can if you want. NXT is a good product.
I personally like Mothers FX better if you are going OTC. You can find it at Walmart for around $9. If you have a Car Quest near by, you can get Duragloss 105 fro about $7. 105 is also a sealant with mild cleaners, great look and excellent durability. |
