Am I driving too much

I purchased my 2013 335i MSport last Saturday. Since then, I have put 900 miles on it. I am afraid that I am driving too much. I am having so much fun driving my car, that I find any excuses to drive it. My previous car was a 2005 Toyota Corolla(had 5 miles when I got it in '05) that I used to drive to work, which is 70 mile round-trip commute. I do have 2002 Civic, but it isn't as fun to drive and the only two options it has is a AC and is auto.
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, what are the long term consequences of putting so many miles so fast, and any tips would be nice.

-I really understand the feeling that there is no car like the 3. I was sold after a test drive, and nothing has even come close to the feeling I have with my 3.

I don't think there's any harm in driving a lot. Just do the maintenance on time. As far as long term consequences go... You'll wear out the car just in time to get the new M4. Keep going.

Keep on enjoying it. You didn't lease it, did you?

Some things to keep in mind...
  • You can never drive too much
  • Always take the long way home
  • Its a good thing when you need to change your brakes
  • Its a good thing when you need to change your oil
  • Its a good thing when you need to change your tires
  • Its a good thing when you give your car a secret glance, and smirk as you walk away

Can never drive too much....unless you lease....like me. But 1200 miles/month is just bareable enough. Makes me savor every mile I go.

No not at all, thats the reason why I bough it. I couldn't lease it. I was driving 20,000/yr since last year with the corolla.

What do you mean by "driving too much"? What's the concern?

Putting on too many miles too fast, I would like the car to last me as long as possible, a minimum of 6 years hopefully 10. I just have so much fun driving that I am going to have to get a new one sooner, or get another car in general.
