Any experience with a bra cover?
No not a bra to cover up the chest. I don't have man boobs!!
I was planning on taking a pretty long roadtrip (1600 miles) but want to prevent the rock chips flying onto my bumper. I also have the CF splitters and wondered if their was room to cover that too. I've heard from the past that a bra would actually scratch up your car a little bit from the clips. Wasn't sure if that's still true now. Last case scenario is to use painters tape and have a blue nose. |

rock chips will happen man, just enjoy your car and drive it, especially if you leased. plus, you want people to see your car because it looks damn good (especially without the blue nose)! however, i can't blame you for wanting to protect it, i was the same way with mine for the first few weeks.

+1 on the clear bra. Second choice would be the big blue nose.

Yea trying to steer away from using a clear bra if possible just for the fact that when i change my front end, it'll be money wasted to me.
Good suggestion though. |

Clear bra the rest everything but your bumper as posted and then painters tape the bumper. If you don't want the whole bumper, you can just do your splitters.

I had a toyota where I had it on my car for years and it worked well. Never took it off except when washign my car. I tried on a honda accord and the paint clouded over when water went under it. Maybe cheap honda paint??? Never used one since.

I used the vinyl bra on my e46. As long as you put it on a CLEAN car and put it on correctly you shouldn't have a problem. The issue I had with it was that I didn't always have it on so my front end still ended up looking like shit. Clear-bra'd the e92.

blue painters tape if you really must.
the problem with those black bra's (from what i read on other forums) is dirt, sand, and other crap gets caught in between the bra and paint. when driving, the slight vibration and the crap stuck in between acts like sand paper. last, they're so ugly!!
