Hey guys, just installed the alarm on my '09 E93. I know it will need to be programmed, but after installing the hood switch, and siren, I get nothing. The clown nose doesn't blink, and no sound from the siren at all. Again I know it needs to be programmed, but I remember reading that the clown nose usually blinks right after the hood switch install. Any suggestions on something I may have done wrong? Thanks!

Key word is "usually" but not necessarily always.

Was your car pre-wired for alarm? What year is it?
Double-check connection on the sensor in the headliner, that's the "brain" of the alarm.

It's an 09 E93. It doesn't have the headliner unit since its a convertible.

Well that's why it's not working. What did you install, siren and hood switch?

That's all the comes with the E93 kit.
