Hello All!
I am a new f30 owner and was wondering if anyone wanted to have a coding day. It looks like there are a lot of awesome "mods" you can do with some simple coding. If anyone has a cable and wants to have a mini meet in the SF Bay Area, let's arrange something! Thanks

Hey Frogman,
Would you be interested in helping me code my car? I would be happy to compensate you for your time. Please let me know. Thanks |

As a rule I don't touch other peoples cars. What I do is let people use my cable and laptop and walk them step-by-step through connecting, backing up, and then coding. I don't do this for money; the real work was done by the pioneers of the coding community for which I am very grateful. I'm happy to be able to help people get the most out of their cars. |

If you are handy, you can make one yourself. There are instructions on the coding forum:
http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=696777 I built my own with this cable from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o01_s00_i00 and a spare shielded Ethernet patch cable I had. It only took about 30 minutes to build and most of that time was triple checking that all connections were correct. |

It only takes about 30 minutes and is very easy to do. I don't know if there are enough SoCal people in the forums to setup a meet. Anyone else interested? |
