I suppose you have jb4 on map 5? If yes just up the safety to 18 and log to see all is good.

Is there anything wrong with setting the over boost safety at something high? Let's say at like 20? Over boost is not targeted boost so I'm not sure how it would be harmful.

The jb4 G4 map 5 autotuning is capped to 17 psi so up max boost to 18 to fix.

You have to be more careful with the G5 board. If I set my overboost to 20psi, it'll hit 19.7psi (with meth) despite only having a meth additive to 50 (which in theory is supposed to cap out at 17.5psi). If I set it to 18.0, it'll target and hit 17.5psi consistently.

I guess I have to turn off the open fuel auto looping and start setting it down increments of 5 until the CELs go away. First run, really good, with a CEL 3/4 towards the end, cut off power and let me still use stock boost, but ran a 12.21. Tune only on stock Kumho SPT tires. The rest. LIMP modes. I was pulling 7.8-7.9 1/8 miles at 91.xx mph, and then LIMP mode and cross the 1/4 mile line at 12.6-7 at 94mph. |

that's seriously quick for just a tune! Good times, despite the hiccups.

it's possible, but post-shift spikes normally don't last a second, unless my logs are different from your's
