Coming from California, NY tint laws?

I'm coming from California and have heavy tints on my windows.

What is the NY law for tints?

If you are running CA license plate, do you still have to follow NY state laws?

Fuck New York state. Where I live only one police department cares about tint. The law is 70% on front and rear windows. the very back window can be 0% light. If you have cali plates they can still bug you. I fight them all the time.

WTH is the point of making you get 70% on the back window?
Does NY limos have see through back windows?

Limos don't have see through rear windows in NY. I thought rear windows were 0%.

70% on the front and rear and anything on the rear windshield. No metallic or mirrored appearance.

I have ohio plates, running 10% all the way round for almost 3 years now with no problems...

I had a black interior/black exterior cadillac sts 06 with 35% tints all around for 2yrs no problem. Now I'm running silver exterior/black interior 328 with 35% tints all around too for 3 months no problem wish I could of done 20% though and next time I will.

I run throughout NYC with 35% front and 20% on the rest of my windows with no probs. If you ever get pulled over just roll down all your windows before the cop gets to you lol. Worked for me in the past!! (knock on wood)

I changed my interior lights to white in my previous car since it was black interior/black exterior with black wheels lol, so whenever i felt cops were looking I would turn my interior lights on and even so since the car had navigation didn't look that dark inside. But yea def pulling down the front windows at least as you approaching them and u getting that gut feeling.

Well, I am not sure but the tri-states shares almost all the information. So they might have something going on together.
