JB4 vs Bav Tech Tool

Hey guys looking at going FBO here soon and was going to start with Jb4. My question is since I'll be buying a Jb4 will I still need my Bav Tech tool? I use it for if any codes come up or to check readings on certain components. Thanks guys

The jb4 can just read codes. Like a code reader but with descriptions. The Bav tool has a lot more readability. I would definitely keep the Bav tool. It's much better for diagnosing problems. The jb4 is for in the "pinch" or "on the go" IMO.

BT tool is a must have even with the JB4..
