squeak/squeal from tires or axles
i tried searching to see if any others have experienced this, but haven't found much thus far. i have recently noticed that my car has a slight squeal/squeak when i let off the brakes from a dead stop and i think it happens more when i turn the steering wheel to either side. now again, it's after i've completely let OFF the brakes, so i don't think that has anything to do with it. i was in the dealer for my first 'scheduled' oil change last week and asked them to take a look at it, but they supposedly could not reproduce the sound. any ideas???
thanks!

High pitched sound?
Probably brake pads squeeking slightly as they get pushed back slightly by the brake disc as it first starts moving

It seems that many, including me are having a similar problem. I'm gonna take mine back to the dealer and make sure they hear this noise, because it's driving me crazy.

i have the same problem too. it only happens after i've been driving for about 1/2 hr. for me, it's the loudest when i am turning right, quite loud when i'm going straight, and almost all gone when turning left. weird.
also check out this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65514 let us know if you do get it fixed, cuz i still don't think there's an obvious answer as to what's causing this noise.. |

For everyone having this problem.. I wonder could it be the brake drying feature malfunctioning? Luckily, I myself haven't had this issue(yet).
