Seat belt twisted

Does anyone know how I can untwist my seat belt? My car is a 2008 335xi coupe. The belt has one twist and is backwards now. Tried re-twisting and forcing it through, but that didn't work.

Haha, yea this is truly a mysterious phenomenon, up there with the mysterious single sock that the washing machine seems to eat on occasion.
