Even after a bad day...

Though I realize I've only had my car a week and this feeling may lessen with time, I find that even after a really crappy day, walking to the parking lot really boosts the spirits. Every time I get in my car, it's like I'm getting to go to the amusement park to get on a ride. Ear to ear, baby. Ear to ear. For those who've come from nice cars, I'm sure the feeling is unlikely as fulfilling. But, all I can say is... I'm loving it.

I can't wait to get this feeling back.

I had it with my 4.4 X5.... until it broke for about the 14,000th time.
The Acura MDX that replaced it was, politely, not as exciting.
The Golf GTi I'm driving while I'm waiting for my 335 to be delivered is a lot of fun, but the manual tranny isn't the best.

I don't think that the feeling ever goes away. Then again, we chose to be BMW drivers - probably because that's what we're looking for

i cry everytime i watch entourage and i see them with the craziest cars..they had a maserati, a brand new mercedes s65, aston martin db9's, and tonight i saw that asshole director guy get into a red saleen s7..i wonder what its like to walk through the parkin lot to those kinda cars everyday

All this talk, has me depressed, cause My car is still about a month away from going into production and probably 8-11 weeks from being delivered! The only thing that keeps me going is living life vicariously through you folks

I peek out all the time and give her a front to back glance. Just got my 335 back after 8 days. I was getting used to the X3's loser steering, lack of real acceleration and obvious tilting when cornering. I chirped the tires leaving the dealership and went on about a 30 minute reacquaintence drive. Got home and gave her a nice micro fiber towel and purified water spray wipe down. Kind of creepy.

i know how you feel man! i'm stuck with the scion tC with a good bit of the time. Every time i get to back the E90 out of the garage, i turn off the music and roll down my windows

Me too. I have loved every one of my BMWs more than is normal. I even love detailing them. And every day I get pleasure driving them. Much more satisfying than a boat - and I live on the water and own a dock.
