M3 side mirrors Replicas for e92

Hey y'all!

Has any one got and installed replicas of m3 side mirrors onto the e92?

If yes, i know the replicas come without the motor, but it seems that by using the e92 housing and the motor it can be possible to have the M3 replicas folding automatically.

Anyone had this experience? If yes, please post pictures or videos.

I would really be thankful for that.

Thanks.

I saw it on ebay. But after speaking with some mechanics i realized that you can only use the motor to movie the mirror. There won't be auto fold mirrors. So i guess i'll just stick to the OEM 335i mirrors.

I found some m3 side mirrors replicas on ebay for less than $300, so i thought it would work instead of paying more than $1000.

Garage List
Reps are easy to find if you don't mind getting manual folding and such. Oem is the only true m3 mirror that has power options.

Are you sure the ebay ones even fold at all? Some of the ones I have seen posted on the forums looked like one piece, but I couldn't tell from the few pics they posted. I don't have power folding mirrors anyway so it does not bother me but I would not want a 1 piece.

I believe they do fold but manually.
