PLZ help! HID foglights, wont stay on!

Is there a relay, or something special that I need to have to put HIDs in my foglights? I put 12k in my healdights, and matching 12k in the foglights, and they come on, for about 30secs, then they turn off and BULB OUT comes up on the computer... There is one company that makes something called "EDM", but they wont help me or let me buy a magic EDM, they say I need to buy a whole kit, and to me thats just no right...
