GIAC tune question

Hey guys, i have the giac tune in my car.. stage one. I'm getting ready to sell the car so i'm slowly bringing it back to stock.

my question is: is it possible to remove and sell this tune to another driver, or is it just a software flash?

No it can't. It's locked to the VIN.

If you get another 335 you can get it reflashed again. Basically you bought the software.

good to know. thinking about either a 335, m3, or range rover sport. idk if i can leave bmw though

i'll probably end up with an e92 lci 335.. would i be able to get it reflashed for an n55 you think?

No idea, ask them. Think it has to be the same engine. Maybe you can get a discount but you probably have to reflash yours stock (which they charge for) .
Non issue if you run cobb for example since you can sell it.
I have as well a giac flash but running cobb now (giac was not interested in doing a custom map for my upgraded turbos)
