Best exhaust for E93??
I am searching for exhausts, so i need some feedback.
The Car is E93 335 with Ar catless dps, so the options are limited. I would like the exhaust to be designed for convertible in order to has an easy setup, zero drone and good sound. I suppose the best sound have the AE exhaust and akrapovic, but i don't know if they fit in E93 and they are a little expensive.. |

You're just going to get a bunch of replies from people who each have a different exhaust telling you how much they love the setup they chose. Your best bet is to search for the mods thread, look at what options are available and search for video clips of each set up and choose the one YOU like.
To my best knowledge e92 exhausts fit e93 all the same. In case you missed it, there's a thread on here with links to videos of all the exhausts. Check it out. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10687 And for the record, I have the HKS exhaust and I love it lol

keep the stock exhaust and change the tips. Anything else will most likely be too loud with downpipes as well.

Why not just get the PE. It sounds great and isn't overly loud. If you get a bit of rasp/drone it'll likely be because of the cattless DP's.
Get the vibrant resonators for that. Either way, my vote goes to PE. Btw, I'm unbiased because I have stock exhaust |

Exhaust is the same and PE on these cars is beautiful. Too bad it's expensive. |

Not exactly true. The E93 has a brace in the rear that e92 do not have. In fact I had to take out the brace and install an aftermarket one. Some people add washers to make clearance.

I have the vanguard set up on my e93 with vrsf dps I'm FBO. Sound is a bit loud but definitely throaty and mean sounding. I also notice less back pressure with a full exhaust and dps. For the record if you are going with a full exhaust system on an e93 you will have to remove the x braces and do some modifying on the rear side because of clearance. I guess this is the price for having an e93

He has already done that Chief, you heard my exhaust today. You should either go with the Autobahn Exotics or manufacture a custom made like mine. No excessive noise, almost no droning and with very good results after 4500 rpm

Go with an axle-back (BMW PE, UUC/Corsa, Remus, Rogue Engineering, SuperSprint, Akrapovic Rear Section, etc). Keeping the secondary cats in will keep rasp & drone down to a minimum with the catless DPs installed

There's also a brace all the way in the back that the name plate on an exhaust like Vanguard cannot be used. So there's two things that have to be done for it to fit a E93 if the exhaust is from an E92, to my knowledge there ain't no E93 specific exhaust.
