Do you have a BT tool? It could either be the A/C compressor or anything else that turns on with the A/C compressor comes on (like the engine fan and related parts)

BT tool can read more than OBD-II codes, it can read BMW specific diagnostic codes, run diagnostic tests on just about anything on the car, and test what seems like a ton of things to see what really is the problem.

Pulley bearing is on the ACC belt system. You can try to open your hood and put your ear (or video camara) close to any part of the engine (while it's on) to see if you can determine where it's at.

I hear the issue at either the fan or pulley with the hood open. When the AC is on max, as soon as the fan kicks up to full it starts. Only happens at max speed of the fan.

Ok. This morning I went out to check the serpentine belt, and there appears to be a slight wobble on it that is very minor. The sound only occurs though when it's hot outside and the air is on MAX. This morning it didn't occur because it was a little cooler, even with the air on MAX

It can't hurt to take it into the dealer, its probably nothing urgent if it only happens intermittently. We all know what will happen though, the problem wont show when at the dealership and they'll send you home. Best thing to do is take a video of when it happens at home and show the dealership when you take it in so they can see what you mean in regard to the issue. Goodluck |

I think i'll probably end up leaving it, and bring it up when I am at the dealer for scheduled service in December. |

Thought you got banned??
Since you don't have a BT Tool, you could go to an AutoZone/NAPA (or any other parts place with an OBD Scan Tool) and see if you can get a fault code (if there is one) |
