ABS, DSC, No Cruise Control ....HELPPPPP!

2007 e92 335i with 49k on the odo..

These warning lights just popped up..hooked up my laptop to the car via JB4 and no codes..

ABS Malfunction
DSC Malfunction
"Brake" (color red)

Also note that my cruise control is malfunctioning and lets me know it is when i try and use it..My blinkers DO turn off after making turns so im thinking steering angle sensor is still good..correct me if im wrong.

From reading other post's it could be anything from bad wheels sensors to a dsc unit failure etc.

Anyone else experience simliar symptoms and what was your fix, total cost etc..

Thanks so much in advance fellow e90 posters.

Either wheel speed sensor or steering angle sensor.

My car had the same issue after I installed my Rougue toe arms in the rear and my car was way out of alignment for a day. We first looked for the steering angle sensor in the Rack and my early build does not have one down there. Then we got the alighnment done and the car was good to go. If your alignment is not way off then it's probably one of the above.

Could be bad wheel speed sensor, bad wheel bearing causing loss of sensor signal, ABS pump (hydro unit), DSC module...

No codes thrown?

I think ABS pump is the most costly out of these options ( i think around $400 somthing for part), wheel speed sensor being the cheapest.

this happened to my e46 M3 and they were able to recalibrate the sensor and the issue went away. Not sure if they can do the same for E92

could i need a new battery possibly? i know the car goes nuts when batter is about to die or gets disconnected etc..could be on its original 2007 battery gotta check!

I had the same thing happen and in addition to the EXACT problems you encountered my wind shield wipers did not work and my A/C blew warm air. After 8 hrs of figuring it out it was the relay at the top left corner of the fuse box. Apparently it had become loose (I have no idea how) and just pushing it back in solved the problem. Hope that helps.

So..took it to a shop and they said it seems to be my DSC module..all wheel speed sensors are reading normally..voltage is good etc..

He also checked my battery which was good as well..

Could be many things but my steering wheel was off by a single notch and it caused a bunch of these problems. Also dying battery makes your car do funny stuff.
