Warranty

So what types of things void the warranty on the F30? Or any BMW?

Strapping a jet engine to the roof racks will void your warranty on the clips.

Hey,

That's quite a broad question... There's plenty that will void the warranty on any car, not just a BMW/F30.

Do you want to be more specific?

Interesting question actually, what about some coding like they do in the DIY forum? For DVD in motion, warning removal etc?

Coding does not void your warranty as its just enabling/disabling functions.

Assuming you don't brick your car. If you change ANYTHING from manufacturer spec it can be grounds to deny a claim. It all depends on whether there's a relation between what you changed and the part that failed.

All in all I'm surprised this question comes up.

That will not void warranty.... not unless you or the vendor who is installing the tint/wheels damages your car and you go to BMW for a warranty claim on those damages....

Hanging anything from the rear vision mirror (fluffy dice, mirror ball, used G-string) or adding LED light strips on the outside of the vehicle - as stated in small fonts on your contract: Section 14 - sub section 8 - paragraph 12.
