SF Angel Eye Install Help

I cannot get the LED angel eye bulbs to lock in place for the life of me. The space constraints are driving me crazy. Is there anyone in SF that could help with this?

Alternatively, can anyone recommend a place to take these to get installed?

If e90 and e92 are the same way you might need to cut or break the tab near the bottom

find a girl with small hands. trust me majority of my friends and i had to get our girlfriends to do it LOL

you need small hands dont break any thing..lol

i have big hands and did my install last nite. i did a AE install and m3 front swaybar install in under 2 hours. the key is giving yourself alot of room. totally remove the liner and a 15 torx is your friend.

I don't believe the e92/3 install involves removing the fender liner as the bulb is accessed from the engine bay, but folks please correct me if that's wrong. Either way, I appreciate the tips.

i have lux h8, so theres a tab that needed to be broken or cut off in order for the lux bulb to fit

I used a pair of pliers to turn the bulb to get it locked in place. Works fine.

I tried that, and now the heat sink fins are all bent and the lights still aren't in.

I am in Crocker-Amazon, about 5 minutes from Daly City. Any chance you could give me a hand? Happy to throw you some bones for your time (or help you with something mechanical, which I'm much better at).

Did you get it installed yet? I've done Lux AE install before. Maybe I can help if you still needed. Let me know, i'm in ssf area.

Jon2168 helped me with the install on Sunday and confirmed that something is wrong with the locking mechanism of these Angel Eye bulbs. Now, I have to go back to e92 lighting to get a replacement.
