Aftermarket auto-dimming rear view mirror

I didnt get the premuim package on my E90 335i. Because the only thing I found useful in it was this auto-dimming mirror. So is there an aftermarket way of getting this thing?

Thanks.

Yes. You can buy the auto-dimming mirror as an accessory. You can also buy the auto-dimming mirror with the homelink. Your choice.

P.S. If I ever see you with a cell phone held up to your head I'm going to slap it out of your hand.

Thanks. Do I just bug the dealer about it or are there cheaper ways to buy the thing itself and DIY installation.

P.S. I've always used bluetooth hands-free devices. Dont see a reason why I need bluetooth in car.

See if your dealer will discount it. Or try one of the forum vendors. Tischer BMW is offering a lot of specials, ask them if they will sell this item as a discount. If not, Circlebmw.com and Pacificbmw.com offers decent deals.

Try Roveractive on eBay. He carries a number of OEM upgrade mirrors. Before you go ahead you should find out whether you have power going to the mirror. If not, you will have to run a wire (usually included with the kit) from under the dash to bring power up there. Also be very careful when removing the original mirror. Try to find some instructions on the internet first. If you don't follow instructions carefully you can crack the windshield easily.

I don't know why but I think I have the auto dimming mirrors even though I didn't get zpp, only zsp. When its dark and lights are flashing...the mirror view becomes black and the headlights dim to a dark green color. Can someone please verify if this is auto dimming?
