M sport steering wheel vs M performance alcantara wheel

i am just trying to find out if the m performance wheel is thicker than the m sport wheel. Also what do people who have had alcantara wheel think about them. i hear they wear down faster than leather due to oily hands. any feedback would be greatly appreciated

The M Sport is thicker. The Performance is "Sport" based with alcantara

I've had Alcantara on a couple of steering wheels. I don't use it anymore because it is a pain to take care of and like you said, it does wear down faster.

Or if you are set on it, driving gloves!

thanks guys i was almost going to try and sell my sport steering wheel to get the alcantara wheel. I wish the M-Sport had perforated leather like the e90 steering wheel

You could consider the M steering wheel from the F20.

The M performance wheel is the same thickness roughly as an M sport or M steering wheel. Its thicker than the standard sport wheel.
