Question: Cold Weather Package

HI
I hope this is the correct place to pose this question. If it is not, please forgive me.

I am lining up the purchase of my first BMW - a 2004 325i.
MY questions is:

What options do the the 'cold weather' and 'sport' packages include, that would not ordinarily come standard? I think I have a handle on what the 'premium' package includes, but am struggling to find info on the other 2.

Also, are there any other packages that are available?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I haven't try this but heard it from someone around here. Please try to see if it works:

Roll your computer's clock back to the year of interest. Go to www.bmw.de configure your own page to look up the car of interest and configure it. Apparently it works like a time machine. Can someone fill me in on that?

that's not going to help him much, seeing the site is for Germany, while the OP is in the US

because we don't have cold weather package in Canada, it's standard equipment on 325/328/330/335

the 2004 model is the last generation 3 series, with an internal model designnation of E46, check out e46fanatics.com for a wealth of information and accurate information on which options are included in each package

For the 2004 (E46) 325i, the sports package includes:

Sports seats, sports suspension (firmer than standard suspension), larger alloy wheels (17" instead of the 16" standard wheels) with summer performance tires. I'd highly recommend it for the seats alone.

The cold weather package includes heated seats, but I'm not sure what else for the '04 year.

I think headlight washers in conjunction with Xenons, also heated windshield washer nozzles, ski bag with folding rear seats.

In 04, the 325 and 330 had the following packages available: Sport, Premium, Cold weather.

The 330 also had the Performance Package available.
