I have a question for you.. kind of off topic for your issue. But I am getting xenons sent to me. Did you purchase these bulbs for increased light output, blueish color or possibly both? I am thinking about getting the euro spec xenon bulbs since they are brighter/bluer but I doubt they are 8000K..

As for light output, the higher in degrees (K) you go the lower the light output (lumens). I have 6000K HIDs and they not def. not as blue as my friend's 8000K. However i put more light down on the road than he does. If you have a 10,000K HID its going to be purple and your hardly going to see anything at night. If you want alot of light output get 4,300K. If you want a bit of both go for 6000. You wont get higher light output and blue color from a 8000K kit, just more blue. |

Looks like you got what you ordered.
Go here: http://www.ijdmtoy.com/webpage/products/xenon.htm and read description. Looks like inside may be Osram Ballast... |

Reply from seller:
"Dear Customer, The auction is for JDM Karamoto D1C HID bulbs for factory Philips or Osram headlight Xenon system. The bulbs are not Philips nor Osram but they are 100% compatible with Philips and Osram system. Sincerely MM www.iJDMTOY.com" Should i return?

I assume this is the halogen to HID (not Xenon) conversion. Let us know how it works and if you have an error and how hard was it to instal. Thanks. |

yes sorry didn't know there was a difference. I bought euro spec bi xenon headlights so I'm replacing the bulbs to 8000k with a foglamp upgrade as well to match. as for install imm probably have my car guy do it for me cuz I'm bad with wiring. I'm great at customizing tho . the error message is unimportant to me cuz I have LEDs everywhere and they throw off the ecu. ill try n see if this throws it off too for u guys

Keep it because I had purchase the same ones and it is very nice. I purchase it at the same website on ebay site: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5054507&rd=1,1
You will not be disappointed. As for the Pilot HID conversation kit I do not have 'cause my E90 comes with HID already. The Valeo D1S 8000K headlight bulbs is want I currently have on my car and I love it. I had also change out the angel eyes from the stock yellowish color to 6500K. I can't find the 8000K angel eyes bulbs but it is better then the yellow sh*t. I had also replace my fog lights with H11 8000K bulbs. Let me know if you have any questions. Full car makeover coming soon. ACS full kit, ACS roof spoiler, CLS complete trunk, PSS9 coilover, VMR-715 stagger rims, more...... |

the seller does have this in the item description.... neither osram or phillips are japanese...
These Xenon bulb are precisely manufactured in Tokyo, Japan in order to maintain exact focus point and consistency. This will make sure the beam pattern will be the same as the stock 4300K D1S or D1R bulbs. We are the only seller on ebay offering Japanese imported High performance 8000K D1S or D1R bulbs. So buy from us and we guarantee you that you will be satisfied.
