possible lemon law...

I have had 3 failed attempts my my dealer to fix a fuel pump problem that has the BMW engineers baffled. Each time I got my car back I found myself stranded on the road with in 24 hours. The last time, this past Saturday, it died as i left their lot. I'm suppose to hear form their parts and service director today to see if my car qualifies under the lemon law. Has anyone here ever dealt with their car falling under the lemon law? If so, what came out of it?

Did they actually replace the fuel pump 3 times? Or, did they take it in and tweak it?

I remember hearing that it has to be in shop for around a month or so without a fix for the problem. If this is the case then I believe you should receive a brand new car.. but as I never did this myself, don't hold me to that.

They have one more attempt...after that its an easy case and you will get all your money back minus milage use. Go to www.bbb.org and click on the Autoline link. I won my lemon case with ease for my E90 330i. If you have any questions, send me a PM...i know that law inside and out.

Are you serious? If in fact you had 3 different physical fuel pumps replaced, I would contact a lemon law lawyer. I think you have a very strong case to at least get a new car.
