unlock = angel eye turns on ???

I saw an e92's angel eye turned on when the owner unlocked the car.....my e90 doesn't do that

Is it only e92 or do you need an alarm for the angels eye to come on after unlock with key fob ?

My e90 does that (no alarm). They come on for 30 seconds or so, then fade away.

My '07 does it when the lights are in "automatic" mode, but not when they're switched off.

When I first bought the car I left the lights in auto all the time. But I don't like the extra on/off power cycles that occur every time I pull into the garage. They're probably designed to handle that and much more, but I'm just paranoid...

As everyone has stated. Try putting your lights on Auto. My friend has an 06 E90 and it works.

+1, but mine isn't when I go into garage, it's when I go under an overpass.

Some 07 cars dont come like that. I think you have to turn it on or have the dealership do it for you.

Cool Ok, I just got off the phone, without hesitation she said she will do it. She also said she doesn't know why that was turned off but it is also very easy to switch it back on so she will request the Tech to do it.
