Talking MY 2008 3 Series Product Bulletin

Not sure if this has been posted, but here is a builletin about MY2008 3 series.

Just FYI, I believe that the series 230 wheels are an additional $2000 option!

It just proves that there is ALWAYS something a split second faster than you coming down the road.

in a 0-60 run traction is king. I would guess the xi will be a few tenths faster 0-60 than all the one-legger 335s but a couple ticks slower in the 1/4 due to the extra weight and parasitic loss.

Hey Ardi, are you a member of centernet? Do you have to work for a dealer to be member? What else is up there pertaining to the 2008MY? Thanks!

all wheel drive cars actually tend to be slower off the line than rear wheel drive. theres a logical reason for this but i forget exactly what it is

In a low power car where full throttle cannot break traction -> yes

In a moderate to high power car where there are more power than traction then awd is king.

Nothing that would've effected my new car, other then probably a price increase.

Nikki is correct. In fact the opposite is true. Four wheels under power will start faster every time. Unless that particular law of physics has also been repealed.

That is totally false. the reason why you "forgot" is because you don't know .

I have had so far 9 AWD cars, they can consistently pull 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 sec 60 at any given time. AWD typically accelerate better from the line than any other FWD or RWD car then once rolling they are in disavantage due to extra weight and extra drivetrain loss/friction.
