Need to remove some of that shipping gel stuff

So when i picked up my car there was this rough feel on part of the door, and they told me that some of the gel from when the car was shipped was not removed properly, so they removed almost all of it, and i don't want to send it back and lose the car for part of the day, what should i use to get rid of it, it's hard to capture a picture of it, any help is appreciated

I would clay the whole car. A lot of threads on claying a car. Don't be scared to do it. It's very easy and makes the paint very smooth.

Where on the door? I had small areas of dried cosmoline under my hood and took some AIO to them and they were gone.

the cosmoline (sp?) is really annoying. I've used a polish to remove it, but it's difficult. I always laugh when I see a BMW driving around and you can see the dirty "drip marks" that come out of the door jambs at the bottom, looks really disgusting. You would think BMW would have a better way to protect cars during shipping that this stuff, or they could do a better job of prepping the cars for delivery.

You can use a solvent to take it off. Or even use paint thinner on a microfiber. Thats what we use at our dealership.
