Sold my Audi, Waiting for 335xi Coupe, No Daily Driver

I sold my Audi A6 4.2. I should complete the sale by Saturday.

I cannot even order my 335xi coupe yet and I don't think I will get the car until early November.

THis means I don't have a daily driver for 3 months......Driving the M6 daily is not an option, I cannot afford the gas

..... What should I do?

I voted to buy a beater.

I'm in a similar situation, I sold my Evo and am not gonna get my 335i for a while. So I'm driving my beater, the one and only 97 Camry, and yeah, it's got the 4cyl..

As stated you either don't own an M6 or are obviously living beyond your means.

Maybe you should sell the M6 until you can afford it.

Can't you get on the list for the first 335xi coupe now with a deposit?
I would rent for a couple of months instead of going through the hassle of finding a beater and selling it again privately in a couple of months.

I drove an extra car of my parents (ugly beat up minivan) for a couple of weeks prior to my e90 arriving from European Delivery. But, it made my wife and I so much more excited to get our e90 back. When your car arrives, You may have less of a feeling of utter joy if your driving the m6 daily. With that said I would still just drive the m6

Guys....thanks for the suggestions.....I sold my Audi and it went smoothly.

I was kidding about affording, the gas...... but it is funny seeing my credit card statements when 2/3's of the items are from gas stations!

I actually don't want to use the M6 daily, because I commute 140 km / day on a concrete highway (bad for stone chips) and quite frankly this is a waste of km's for the M6.

I am going to my favorite BMW dealer to see if they have anything for me to bridge the gap with.
I also found some decent takeover leases.
In looking at beaters, if I were to buy one, I wonder if I would lose anything in the 3 months if I get a good trade-in value

To be honest, I discounted the beater option but if I can avoid losing money, I may look for some beaters. I will update when I can....
