Dealer switching wheels on used car?

About to purchase a 2011 328i M sport and it comes with the 18" 152 wheels. To me they look a little to individual 7 series to me and old man'ish. I was considering asking the dealer if they could swap them out for maybe the 193m or maybe some 230's. Point being have any of you had any luck getting a dealership to swap wheels on a used car? Thanks

I have had the dealer swap wheels on a new car purchase, not a used but it never hurts to ask. They might do it if another used car they have, has the wheels you want. Otherwise id guess they would try to sell you a new set.

I've asked the question once before at a reputable used dealer (specifically for MINIs). They say that usually the wheels on these cars come with part of a package (in our case, ZSP or M-Sport), so swapping would interfere with the combination on the original window sticker. Unless it's at a dealer who has a lot of the same car and doesn't care, it may work. Otherwise, swapping will do nothing but interfere with the car's value and can be risky for the used car dealer.

Just say I want the wheels on X car on my car or it's no deal. If they refuse, start laying $50s on the table.
