F10 550i stock tips with other exhaust
I apologize if someone already has posted such setups,
but I'm looking for examples to consider. I plan on keeping the stock tips but with a cat back/xpipe type exhaust that can bring some sound to the stock system. Personally, I think the f10 550i is way TOO quiet for me.. I'm coming from an 2007 audi s6, and although it's not quite the same engine size (v10) I do miss a growl when stepping on the gas.. Nothing extremely loud or race-y, but something with a deeper sound... Anyone have a setup like this they can share? Or ideas? Thanks |

One blogger I met up recently have the last gen. M6 muffler put on (will require a little bit of mod to fit to a F10) and there is little to no drone at all. It sounds good and deep. If interested, you can pm him for more details. http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=688498 |

Hey, thanks for the reply..
I've actually seen that FS thread around here.. and considered it. But I want to keep the aesthetics of the car as stock as clean and stock as possible.. to keep it wife-friendly. So, if anything I would be going for that m6 muffler if it is compatible with the stock 550i tips.. |
