Conti Runflats- rears for ZSP still on backorder!

Hi all,
I've been running Conti SportContact 2 SSRs on the front and the OEM shitty Bridgestones on the back for a while now, because the rear Contis were on backorder. Now the rear Bridgestones are almost completely bald, and the Contis appear to still be on backorder! Has anyone seen these tires available? I'm talking about 255/40/17. I need them ASAP.
Thx

Just looked on Tire Rack, and can't find these Contis listed as RFT's. Are they? Seems like the only RFTs listed are the Bridgestone RE050s that we now have.

This is true for 255/35R18, but the OP is talking about 255/40R17. Search the latter size on our site and you'll find Bridgestone and Pirelli in stock, and Conti on backorder. Unfortunately there is no production date announced yet so expect a minimum of 8-10 weeks.

Not sure I understand. So, if I wanted to replace all 4 of my RFTs with non-Bridgestone RFTs, I couldn't do that? Nobody besides Bridgestone makes a 255/35R18 RFT?

I was simply explaining why you couldn't find the other tires on our site. You were looking for 255/35R18, but the original poster (OP) was referring to 255/40R17.

Correct, no other make besides Bridgestone makes the runflat tires in 255/35R18.

Yes, you can use non-runflat tires on the same wheels.

Thanks for your help Gary. Hopefully, one of the other makes will produce that size before I have to replace mine...
