Driver Side Sensor (JB4 Install)

The sensor that tells the car that the hood is closed, how do i get it off without disconnecting the wire?

And yes im watching the video and have the pdf open and it looks like it just pops off but mines bolted down

i just turned the battier off instead but no im running into another problem in the ecu, the two wires that i need to pull out on the smaller of the two ecu connecters wont come out because the clip that locks them into place wont let me take them all the way out, in the video it looks like they removed the locking device
