procede and dci - is this normal?

just installed these recently.. when I get into first gear and floor it I feel nothing until about 3000-3200rpm.. is this normal? I know peak torque doesn't come on early but I feel no acceleration until then. does any mod do anything for this? downpipes?

Sounds normal to me. I am stock and feel the real power around there as well, maybe a little bit earlier.

More Mods = More Power. Give it a month or 2 & you'll be FBO

Gotta be in the right gear.
There is turbo lag but 3500 isnt right.
Downpipes should grt rid of any lag, after that its just normal for any turbod car.

In 1st gear, the engine will "outrun" the turbos so don't expect full boost at a very low rpm. You'll see that the higher the gear, the more load, and earlier the spool up.

i'm talking mostly about first gear, traction is on.. also, i feel like i started to notice this after the dci install... less torque on the low end but it might be mental. just wondering if it's normal to have boost come on that late in first gear

out of curiosity, in a car with just procede and dci... if you engage first and go completely WOT, when do you really feel the torque/boost? idk if it's normal, or caused by the dci, or just in my head....

Like Shiv said, don't expect a lot in 1st gear (has nothing to do w/ the tune or mods, it's the gearing). From a slow roll in 2nd, hammer it & you'll def feel the turbos a lot more once the boost builds ~3,000 RPMs

idk about that... when the car is cold or when it's cold out i feel like it pulls harder than when it's at ~250 degrees.... is this considered heatsoak for the dci? solved by FMIC?
