Hello

First of all every tuning of the engine is "bad" for the engine! If you are so afraid of ruining your engine, then don't tune it! Or get an official power plus from BMW so you will keep your warrenty!

It can happen with the best tunes that your engine fails. It depens a lot on how you drive, how you thread your car and in witch state your engine is (even new).

I have the PPK because i depend on my car. I'm not afraid that something breaks and i have to pay for it!

When my warrenty is over, then i would go for the JB4

Get a Dinan tune man, at least you'll be in warranty if something blows.

This is the N55 section and there is no JB+ for the N55. For the N54 the JB+ is one of the safest and easiest to use tunes around. Many just go for the JB4 though as it has a lot more features and power potential. Both have thousands in use and have proved to have excellent reliability.
