problem with loaner vehicle - stone chip on windshield..
I was wondering if anyone have any experience with stone chip on windshield with a loaner vehicle?!
Experience with getting a new car had been horrible so far.. waited two and a half months for a car.. car came in automatic instead of a manual transmission.. waited another week for a replacement.. had to paid extra for options i didn't want in the first place.. got some shitty incentive in return.. when the replacement car came in.. the trunk was scratched up during delivery.. took the car back after the weekend for a paint job.. and took a loaner since i need a car to get to work.. now theres a stone chip on the windshield of the loaner as big as a penny... I don't even recall getting hit by anything.. I am pretty sure they will charge me for it.. Does anyone know how much they will charge?! will they charge for the repair or replacement of the windshield?! Sigh.. |

Why would you pay?
It's their car.

I think it could be covered by your credit card insurance since it's treated as a rental although it's free? Could be wrong.

F&@k that. I wouldn't even worry about its their problem. First off don't even say anything and sleep well tonight, second they will get it fixed for free and after everything you went through who gives a shit. My 2 cents.

Because when you get a loaner/rental it's usually your insurance that covers it, unless you've paid for the damage waiver, or you use a credit card that will cover it (if you're paying).. Still, I agree... with all the crap the OP has gone through I would tell them to go F themselves. |
