They replaced my HPFP and some injectors while I was modded under the recall. I had no symptoms though. That being said it's probably a good idea to remove the jb

You should at least remove the JB4(they have to program the car and BAD things can happen when you have a piggyback installed and they try to flash over it.)

The DPs may be a concern, but the DCI and FMIC shouldn't be a problem. that varies from dealer to dealer

If your car falls under the recall they'll do the updates but depending on the dealer they may tell you to remove it anyways before they'll do any of the work. you might as well just remove it

I had my HPFP replaced under recall while my car was FBO+meth. You could always put a call in to your SA and ask if it's ok to bring it in like that. That is what I always did.

Thanks for putting this out there. I had the same question on my mind recently as I seem to be having problems starting the car with rough idle and cranks. I will be removing the JB4 just so don't have any hassles - altho my DP's and intakes will still be on.

u brought ur car in fbo+meth?that's crazy do u have the ww meth setup or trunk?guess some dealers don't care,do u mind sharing what dealer that was?would love to do the same thing as I don't feel like taking everything off I'm also fbo n meth
