Oil change advice
My car has about 7k miles on it since my oil was last changed. Since then: I added the PPK 6 months ago. I had all 6 injectors replaced. I added 5 bottles of FI cleaner 2 months ago until they figured out it needed walnut blasted. I have a feeling my oil might need an early change due to all my engine maintenance; especially with the walnut blast and FI cleaner.
Should I change it early?

Seems like most folks are doing an intermittent change anyway.

I vote yes for a oil change now, it will never hurt anything changing your oil early. My first oil change will be done at 3000 miles but my next will be done every 5000 miles.

I'm trying to keep this car for another 40-50k miles. I'll change it tomorrow. Thanks!

Without an oil analysis done everyone is just guessing.
I liked to change my around 7-8K though. People would be surprised how long their oil can last after an oil analysis. |

Every study I've ever read confirms this, I just can't help but do it a bit more frequently. |

There is actually a few articles about how the 3000K oil change is a scam, even for regular oil. It's all marketing. We as consumers are literally wasting oil and the "jiffy lubes" of the world are loving it.

I hear you. It took every fiber of my being to switch from 3000 to 5000-7000 mile changes as old habits are hard to break.
