Is it going to make THAT much of a difference?
I just put the K&N filter in the standard box... Figured that would pretty much be the same..

Yes

The open cone style air filter helps with flow, especially at higher speeds... at the sacrifice of potential heat soak which can affect low down power slightly.

Was never a fan of open style filters, but I took the plunge and was surprised by the results.
Paul, it's not that hard to install, let me know if you need someone to hold your hand

Yes. I think we are, but you are running 50/50 98/e85.
Maybe a Dyno and drag night should be on the cards.

[QUOTE=SPJ;12110154]buy these and you will LOOSE power..[/QU

I have one of these and you do not loose power, you dont gain 50HP either, but loosing power is a myth (and yes, I know there is dyno's that support either argument)
