40 profile on 19s

So how come we cant run a 40 profile on 19s with our cars?

I see every one talk about 265/30/19 - 235-35-19. Which pretty much sucks for traction and protection of the wheels.

I think 40 series tires are too tall for our wheel wells, unless you plan on running skinny tires.
