Suspension noise when riding over rough surface...

Hey guys, don't know if this is normal or not, but ever since I've had my car when I ride over rough surfaces or over potholes at low speeds I hear a noise from my suspension that kind of sounds like pressurized air being shot out of a hose at a tire filling station. Don't know if it happens at high speeds, but definitely on low speeds 0-35. Anyone else notice this?

I get the same noise. Like a short air compression noise when the you go over small bumps right?? I took it to the dealer, and after a drive with the mechanic, he said it was fine. Still kinda bugs me though.

Coilovers sound like a good solution

That's perfectly normal; you're hearing the shocks at work. It is the sound of fluid passing through the valves inside the shock tube as the piston compresses into it and back out again.

Basics of shocks:

Same thing on my car, but it's only the driver's side front that does it. The rest are silent when going over bumps lol
