you need to spread the collar a bit for the strut to slide in smoothly. you can use a small prybar, or get a 3/4" to 1/4" socket adapter which will fit in the gap, turn it 45 degrees with a wrench and it will hold it open.

Otherwise, mount the top of the strut and use your jack to slowly push up the lower control arm, and the spring tension will help push the shock down in the collar.

Pry the collar more with a prybar or end of the hammer. Use some lubrication such as WD40 or i find that a jelly works better. Lubricate the collar and the end of the strut.

You can also have a buddy hold the strut in place and glide it in while another person hits the top of the strut with a rubber mallet to go in. Just put a piece of wood and some cushion so you are not directly hitting the strut.

off topic, anyone want to share their shock setting? I have 336F 672R and both front and rear are set to 1turn from stiff, the rear feel a bit bouncy and front was a bit too harsh

EDIT: And I just got ABS, DSC malfunction, I found some said the wheel speed sensor needs recalibration, but I can found a definite solution, anyone?
