July 328i Sport ED order already in production

Hello,

Just wanted to let everyone know, that if you have an ED delivery set for July, there is a chance your car might have already gone in production. My car is set to be picked up in Munich on July 23rd and the car entered production yesterday. My hopes for a 2013 upgrade were dashed. I guess BMW is building them now so they can shut down the line for the 2013 change over in early July.

Looking forward to great trip. Time to start planning.

You've got me nervous! I'm scheduled for a July 13 ED and I called today and was told its not yet in prod. How did you confirm it?

My July 30th delivery 328i sport is also not yet in production. However, when I was at the dealer submitting the final P.O., I believe I saw a June production date for the last week of June. Both the phone and BMW USA site still say waiting.

The sad thing is that August 10th will be the first 2013 EDs. However, we can join the exclusive club of having the last 2012s, and luckily there are not too many changes for the 2013 year

Since the trip is all set, there's really no point in shuffling everything around.
